Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?
We ask that our visitors pay a 25% deposit when booking the villa. The rest is paid by arrangement.
Q. Are there any additional charges?
House management fee of €150 - this is an extra fee that covers cleaning, laundry and any assistence during your stay should it be required. We ask that you pay this cash sum directly to the housekeeper on arrrival, when the keys are handed over. Please note this fee is not included in the 25% rental deposit.
Dogs : extra €50 per dog per stay, payable as part of the the rental change.
Q. What is provided/what do I need to pack?
We provide bed sheets and towels - PLEASE BRING BEACH TOWELS as these are not included. Hairdryers are also supplied.
Q. Can I drink the tap water?
During your stay, we advise that you stick to drinking bottled water. You can buy large bottles in the shop over the road - remember to stock up, particularly during hot weather!
Q. Where can I buy food?
There is a shop directly opposite the villa which sells the basics but also fresh bread daily, open June-October. We encourage all of our visitors to support this lovely, local business! There are many larger supermarkets in Conil (Mercadona is one) which is better for big food shops. Conil also has a popular indoor market "Mercado de Abastos" at the top end of town, open until 2pm, selling fresh fish, meat, fruit, and veg.
Q. Any restaurant recommendations?
A particular favourite of ours is La Fontanilla, halfway along the beach between Fuente and Conil. It serves gorgeous, fresh fish and the paella is just amazing. This also applies to the many beach bars (locally known as "Chiringuitos") between Fuente del Gallo and Conil which serve excellent food.
Conil town is full of great restaurants so you'll find many places just by wandering around.
Closer to home, the Restaurante El Marinero opposite the villa is a handy choice and serves tasty food. It is perfect for families with children as it has an outdoor seating to the rear and a garden.
